Ajith Kumar, Pathanamthitta is a distinguished former Petty Officer of the Indian Navy, who proudly served the nation as an Anti-Submarine Warfare Specialist during his tenure in the
Indian Naval forces. With a strong foundation in maritime defence operations and underwater warfare systems, he contributed significantly to the operational readiness and surveillance
capabilities of the Navy during his years of service. Following his dedicated naval career, Ajith Kumar transitioned into the field of maritime education and training, where he served as a Maritime Course Coordinator in reputed marine training institutes. In this role, he played a pivotal part in mentoring aspiring seafarers and maritime professionals, contributing to skill development and capacity building in India’s maritime workforce. A committed public figure, Ajith Kumar also contested from the Pathanamthitta Lok Sabha constituency in the 2014 General Elections, reflecting his active engagement in democratic processes and public service initiatives. Beyond his professional engagements, Ajith Kumar has been actively involved in social service, working with various organisations at multiple levels — from grassroots initiatives to national-level platforms. He is also a motivational speaker, inspiring youth and professionals through seminars and public interactions. In the literary field, he has contributed to Malayalam publications and has authored an English Handbook for Safety Professionals, aimed at enhancing awareness and practical knowledge in occupational safety and health management — an area closely aligned with your ongoing academic initiatives at CISM Academy & Business School, Kochi. He is married to Lezitha, and they are blessed with two children. Their elder son Adarsh tragically left them 12 years ago at the tender age of 17 during his childhood. Their daughter Pravda has recently completed her legal education, marking a proud milestone for the family. Ajith Kumar continues to remain an inspiration through his journey of disciplined service, professional mentorship, public engagement, and social commitment.
